BismiLLAH ..

I'm not really in a mood to write something here after about 1 month letting this blog gloom without any new entry posted . But at least , i still wanna write something today without no more halfway-stuck . It was about my experience this morning , just wanna share it here in case you will get something good from this =)

Ok before i go ahead to the good part ,let me tell u guys a personal updates here..However it must be noted that the benefit of this both are for me alone but really ala..once in a while why not right? so bare with me..

First , today is my ummi's birthday . Gave her SMS and she returned back to me with "You are the first person saying this today" . Im just wondering if others are forgetting about this , and again , sent a reminder sms to my other family members . Hopes ummi will keep smiling receiving lots of birthday wishes today . I love you ummi !

Second , i'm about to move towards a new phase in my life . Well it gonna be too soon . SubhanAllah its definitely catching up with me. But Alhamdulillah at least Allah gave me some time to continue improving myself insyaAllah. Anyways, can't help being a little childish for the very last time (I HOPE)!

Now lets move for a good one .

Hijab : You believe you will be safe with this ?

All womens , do you have any idea on how to respond when someone asking "Do you believe that wearing a hijab(tudung) is a guarantee for you to be safe?" . And believe or not , i have been asked with this question in the monorail this morning by one of a foreigner (european i think) . Since i'll disembark at Medan Tuanku Station soon, i just said (didn't sounds too good then...) "For Muslim womens ,Hijab is a must and not a choice or a security measure . Just think of a safety belt in a car, is it a guarantee that you will be safe when got accident? Its not a guarantee but it is a must for you to wear a seatbelt when driving"

She seems confused but Monorail has arriving at Medan Tuanku station so i have to go , sorry madam, hoping to see you again next time ! Well , I am pondering of this for the whole today and and try to find out a good point for this issue .

Lets think of a safety belt in a car again : if during an accident it does not prevent injury from a passenger, does that invalidate safety belts at large , or justify to that person never wearing a safety belt again ?

However, Hijab is not primarily a security measure. It is a mandated worship just like prayer . Muslims worship unconditionally ; when we follow ALLAH's orders , we do so obediently and lovingly , not suspiciously with the intention of testing . Right ? No one said that veiled women are immune to assault or crimes, but those who are firm in their faith know they will be tested, and they know where to turn when hardships happen.

Why Calamities?

For sure ,only ALLAH knows why events happen , so it is not up to us to determine His wisdom . We can only try to learn the lesson and pass the tests and trials . Both believers and non-believers go through good and bad in life, each with a different perspective, and consequently with a different lesson to learn . Just continue learning something from what ALLAH gave us , stop complaining and asking for a reason why this happen to me and why and why . That show that you are not being thankful enough to ALLAH .

Where a non-believer may bless or curse his 'luck', a believer would thank ALLAH for both good and bad, then stop and think, examine the quality of their deeds , and work on improving as humans ; that alone is a great blessing . Some bad events are actually blessings in disguise because they help us grow in faith and in character . Well , i have learnt lots of things from this , yes !

So if a person who prays regularly and sincerely has a car accident, it does not mean his prayers were not heard and he stops praying, nor does it mean it is a message for him never to drive cars again. It is just to test resilience, perseverance, and steadfastness:

"Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere"
(Al-Baqarah 2:155)

Well , i think all above points are good enough to let people knows that all of our daily worship is just for the sake of ALLAH . Again , Hijab is a MUST not a choice and
not primarily a security measure. It is a mandated worship unconditionally . Ikhlas performing it and redha with what ever happens are the exact keywords here .

Take care guys .

wALLAHua'lam .

    Salam...

Semuanya kerana Allah sayangkan kita.

Shaheerah, jaga diri, jaga iman, kiblatkan hati, terus berjuang.
